This past Saturday was my last class until the fall. There will be one more class taught by Bill this Saturday at 4pm in the new space. Thanks to those that came to my class this year!

Where are you going to ride Sunday? I might be interested in mtn bike ride. nice change of pace and warmer.
Last Sunday Lewis and I went out to Hale Reservation for a couple of hours. It was a spectacular day in the woods. Very peaceful and quite comfortable, temperature wise. We hung out at the top of Powisset hill for about 10 minutes just looking at the vistas of Boston in the distance to our NE and Gillette Stadium to our SE. It was nice to feel the warmth of the sun on your back and there was just the slightest breeze to let you catch the smell of pine and spruce. We also rode past the waterfall by the dam (closer to Caryl Park). A massive column of blue ice stretched from where the pond water breaks free clear down to the shallow pool below. One of the nicest days I've had on a bike in some time.
Next week, I think we are going to try and get back on the fat tires again. Not sure where yet.
